He creates all things new

 

Remember not the former things,
nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19

Behold I make all things new the Lord declares over my life, as I fall into the pit of despair, feeling like my past failures are consuming me, and I am in the dark once more. I cannot see the light at the time, but then the still small voice, " I make all things new"

What does it mean to be new , just as Zacheus asked Jesus long ago. Surely we cannot go back into our Mother's womb, we cannot climb back into the nest. So what must we do to be saved, what must we do to become brand new. When we accept Jesus into our lives, he doesn't kill us, and replace us with another person. He gives us a new spirit, a new heart. Just as the psalmist  says" Create in me a clean heart , O God, and renew a right spirit within me Psalm 51:10.

 So how do we stay within the love of God, within the continual state of the new man?
Abide in Christ. If we abide in Him, he will abide in us, and we will bear much fruit, for without him we can do nothing. We must abide, through prayer, we must abide, by resisting the devil every hour, every minute, every second. When we resist the devil, rebuke his lies we are living in victory, but when we let our mind wander, our thoughts become dark, and we are drifting. His Word is our light, and we must allow it to shine out in the darkness. There is no fear in love, perfect love casts out all fear. So what are you afraid of, give it to Jesus, what is consuming you today, cast it into the sea, let him lift us above the storm. He is the solid rock, our sure foundation, and the only foundation that will not be shaken.

The more we abide, our life becomes a ripple to our family, friends, and to the world.
Others start to see the light shining out, exposing  all things hidden. As long as we hide our sins the enemy has power over us. Let us expose him for what he is, a liar. Jesus is our source of life, and by his wounds we are healed and delivered from the power of darkness.

Thank you Lord,

That we can come before you unashamed, and our sins our washed away by the blood of the lamb.
we are no longer the same, you have made all things new, and you are continuing to renew. Let us draw near to you today, resist the devil, embrace your love, your mercy and your forgiveness.
As you cleanse us giving us a new heart, let us never forget your deliverance, and be ready to share the hope of glory, that lives within.
